X-10 - Fishing Frenzy Day Camp (Ages 2-6)

Join us as we dip our toes into the vast waters of fishing. Campers will learn some of the different types of fish they could find in our pond, and will get the opportunity to learn how to use some real basic fishing equipment. There will also be fun fish themed activities. Equipment is provided, but feel free to bring your own!

Young children and their parents or guardian will participate together in age-appropriate nature activities. Children must attend with a parent or guardian, as this is NOT A DROP OFF PROGRAM.

The $15 fee covers both child and adult.

Please register the CHILD, rather than the adult. If you are bringing more than one child, they each need to be registered separately. Thank you.

For any questions or assistance with registration, please call the McCloud Nature Center at (765) 676-5437.

Note:

Program Notes

COME PREPARED FOR ADVENTURE WITH WATER, A SNACK, A CHANGE OF CLOTHES, AND A TOWEL FOR CAMPERS AND ADULTS.

WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY: Most of our kid's camps are designed around program elements that can be taught indoors or out. During periods of high heat or pop-up thunderstorms, kids will come indoors, out of the weather, for periods of time until it is safe to return outdoors. However, a forecast of severe weather will result in camp cancellations. The decision to cancel a camp based on a severe weather forecast will be made by 3 p.m. the preceding day, and parents will be notified by phone and email.
